One of our local authority clients are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Worker. This is a temporary contract for 2 months with possible further extension based on budget and performance.

Main Purpose of Post/Job Summary

The post holder will help with general grounds maintenance duties including strimming, mowing, gardening, manual lifting and other grounds maintenance duties as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clearing rubbish, weeds, brush and debris on a company's grounds.
• Cleaning entrances, pool deck and upper decks.
• Watering all flowers and plants on the grounds.
• Weeding, trimming, and mulching plants using gardening tools.
• Cleaning the company's grounds by removing rubbish and litter daily.
• Taking care of all groundskeeping supplies, tools and inventory.
• Ensuring the grounds are clean, safe and usable by guest and visitors.
• Removing dirt on sidewalks pavements and driveways.
• Taking on special landscaping or planting projects as deemed necessary.
