My Name is Damian Madden andIm the Service Manager for NHS Kirklees Talking Therapies, in Huddersfield and Dewsbury and Im excitedto welcome applications for a new Senior Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist.
We provide NICE compliant psychotherapy incorporating CBT, Counselling andGuided Self Help to clients in primary care. This is an 8-8 service Monday toFriday, and we offer sessions by Microsoft Teams, telephone or face to face.
We treat clients with common mental health problems such as depression oranxiety disorders like Generalised Anxiety Disorder, OCD, PTSD, social phobiaor body dysphoric disorder.
We consistently achieve our recovery target of 50%, for me thats importantbecause it means were making a difference to peoples lives.

Main duties of the job
As well as providing directtherapy to clients, you would provide caseload management/ supervision to theCBT team combined with the delivery of in-house training. You will play a keyrole in the leadership team whilst contributing to the clinical direction ofthe service, with a focus on engaging with local communities and keystakeholders.
You must be an enthusiastic andhardworking leader with a passion for providing high quality evidence basedpsychological therapy to adults in Kirklees. The post holderwill provide specialist psychotherapy skills within a multidisciplinary team.The post holder will provide a high-quality clinical service to the users ofthe service.
They will providehighly specialist assessment and intervention while working collaborativelywith non-psychology and psychotherapy professionals from other agencies andcarers.
They will be clinically responsible to a specialist psychotherapist.Clinical oversight of all work will be held by the clinical lead in theservice.
