    Description

    We are a small private clinic in Marylebone, London W1, looking to recruit a full-time General Manager to work closely with our Clinic Director, our doctors and our admin/operations team.

    Hours 37.5 per week 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday

    This is not a hybrid or remote working role

    This is an exciting and interesting role for the right person with the necessary skills and relevant experience. No two days will be the same - in a good way. Your duties and responsibilities will range from day-to-day operations through business management to planning and strategy. There will never be a dull moment unless you create one in order to concentrate on a specific task This is a fabulous and rare opportunity to apply everything you have learned in senior management – without the conflict, the stress or controlling external factors.

    Areas of responsibility:

    ·Looking after the business as a whole working closely with the Clinic Director – maintaining high quality and achieving continuous improvement across all areas.

    ·Delivery of a consistently excellent patient experience – each patient is an individual and empathy must be the default.

    ·Diary optimisation.

    ·Full support for doctors and staff.

    ·Strategic development, planning, continuous operational and quality improvement.

    ·Finance including payroll (working with our accountant).

    ·HR including all aspects of structured staff support and performance management (supported by our external provider).

    ·Training and development of new and existing non-clinical staff members – post recruitment as well as ongoing.

    ·Compliance (Care Quality Commission).

    ·Complaints handling and resolution and management of all kinds of atypical patient relations.

    ·Administrative excellence (within our team and via external secretarial service).

    ·IT and equipment (supported by our external provider).

    ·Facilities management (supported by our maintenance provider).

    ·Website and online presence management (supported by our external provider).

    ·Maintenance and development of highly functional external and partner relationships.
