Description

As a Barclays Executive Assistant, you will be a part of a team of two PAs and will support three Directors - Head of Shares Services, Head of Incentives and Head of BX and provide support to the team.

Moreover, you will need to build an understandingof the business and function's processes and objectives so the MD and D you support can rely on your judgement to understand relative priorities and how the various appointments, meetings and outputs contribute towards that.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:


  • Extensive diary management, booking appointments, meetings, conference calls, travel and processing expenses
  • Preparing and amending documentation when requested, including formatting spreadsheets, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations etc
  • Assisting with billing and ensuring invoices and purchase orders are processed in a timely manner
  • Organising the onboarding of new joiners to the team.
  • Liaising with senior Legal and HR stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Managing tribunal litigation inbox, dealing with new claims received from ACAS and the internal SAR team
  • Managing of the EIP Legal Sharepoint page, ensuring key documents are kept up to date and a central resource for the team maintained

  • Must be a team player and willing to help the team as needs arise and flexible, adaptable and comfortable with change
  • High degree of social skills when dealing with a range of people and situations including being comfortable with senior stakeholders
  • Resilience and integrity that thrives working within a busy team environment and has proven experience of working to competing deadlines

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Need to feel comfortable instructing and directing members of the team when necessary
  • A keen interest in growing and developing through experience
  • Proactive and flexible; accustomed to working within an open plan workplace with a high degree of interaction and interruption

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
