    What you'll be doing

  • To acquire new space and carry out due diligence on any new property acquired via business acqusitions
  • Ensuring optimal disposal of freehold owned properties and of leasehold interests through subletting, assignment and surrender
  • To manage occupational property costs ensuring best value from our Landlords and our advisors
  • To manage lease events, including rent reviews, lease renewals and lease break options, delivering optimum outcomes
  • To lead, coach and develop 2 x direct report Property Management Professionals
  • To work as part of the Real Estate senior team, leading defined national workstreams of real estate activity
  • The skills and experience you'll need

  • Ability to asset and estate manage large, complex real estate portfolios
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Able to motivate, coach and develop colleagues
  • Able to build collaborative relationships and to influence colleagues at all levels verbally and through business case or board papers
  • Significant real estate asset and property management experience gained across complex portfolios
  • Detailed understanding of commercial landlord and tenant legislation
  • Leading and developing colleagues and direct reports
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors desirable but not essential, breadth and depth of relevant experience more important
