    Join Close Brothers Specialist Asset Finance division comprising of three business areas namely Close Leasing, Close Brothers Business Finance (CBBF) and Braemar Finance.

    The role of the FP&A Analyst is to assist the FP&A Manager in supporting the CEO of Specialist Asset Finance (SAF) and partnering with the business MDs and heads of product of the constituent businesses in developing and achieving their financial objectives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Preparation of all aspects of financial planning and forecasting for SAF including long range plans, annual budget setting, periodic forecasts and associated ICAAP based stress testing.
    • Review and strengthen existing processes and financial models to improve the value of outputs and ensure their robustness.
    • Preparation of submissions to Central FP&A teams within deadlines.
    • Prepare monthly reporting packs and board presentations outlining key financial performance metrics.
    • Prepare pricing and return on equity requests for large, complex deal transactions.
    • Support the FP&A Manager, AF&L Finance Director and divisional CEO with adhoc analysis on topical issues.

    • Team player committed to ensuring that the overall team objectives are met.
    • Experience of delivering effective reporting under tight deadlines.
    • Experience of collaborating with others across functional and geographic boundaries.

    IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

    • Solid relevant accounting experience and technical knowledge
    • Experience of financial modelling of structured project finance and intermediary led products.
    • Previous knowledge and experience of accounting requirements within the asset finance industry.
    • Worked effectively within a large, multi-site and complex business.
    • SAP EPM and/or BPC experience or any other ledger experience/knowledge.
    • Alteryx experience/exposure.
