- Collection and processing of all site generated waste to meet the demands of the production areas as directed
- Process all site generated waste in accordance with local operating procedures
- Undertake waste & cleaning duties
- Ensure that checklists and compliance documentation is completed accurately
- Aptitude to safely operate waste machinery
- Ensure regular checks of the machinery and equipment used are carried out during the working day
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies
- Attend and participate in training sessions as required for the role
- To liaise with other Waste & Clean Team members on a daily basis
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels including Client representatives
- Promote best practice of all tasks undertaken and completed
- From time to time it may be necessary to carry out other duties not specifically described in this job description The experience you will need Essential:
- Experience and knowledge of waste and facilities management
- Ability to work on own initiative and to act independently and/or as part of a team offering a high level of flexibility and a good work ethic in a busy manufacturing environment
