- Collaborate with business stakeholders to devise a procurement activity wave plan, considering new business requirements, strategic objectives, emerging risks, and impending supplier contract expirations.
- Utilize a robust understanding of market dynamics, employing tools such as Porter's Five Forces and Kraljic, as well as cost drivers specific to the goods/services/technology under consideration, to formulate the category strategy.
- Develop go-to-market strategies in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Take the lead in procurement tenders aligned with the category strategy.
- Lead commercial negotiations.
- Lead contract drafting and negotiation in partnership with Commercial Legal and specialist legal teams.
- Drive the development of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities aligned with the Centrica SRM framework.
- Manage the contract governance process in collaboration with business stakeholders (Group Contracts Committee).
- Collaborate with risk SME teams to manage risks effectively.
- Manage and optimize the supplier base within the category, including buying channels and the category playbook, to facilitate tactical sourcing.
- Work collaboratively across the Procurement Function to enhance the stakeholder experience.
