    This is a hybrid role where you'll spend at least 2 days per week working in the office alongside your team.

    Our Active Network Engineering function is the backbone of delivering impactful, reliable solutions that set the standard for best-in-class digital infrastructure and lightning-fast broadband. As a vital member of our team, you'll take charge of the entire lifecycle of active network components, ensuring solutions are not just delivered promptly, but in a standardised, scalable, supportable, and secure manner. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Innovate Solutions : Dive deep into internal and external business requirements, crafting and recommending innovative solutions and best practices that drive excellence
  • Crack Complex Problems: Armed with your functional knowledge and proven methodologies, you'll tackle even the most intricate problems head-on, finding efficient and effective solutions
  • Be the Expert: Own your expertise As a specialist in your field, you'll leverage your deep subject matter knowledge to lead and guide your team towards success
  • Lead the Way: Take the reins on projects and teams, setting the gold standard for best practices and quality resources that drive us forward
  • What you'll bring to the role

    We're looking for people who don't settle for 'good enough' and push things forward. If you're a specialist in network engineering at scale (particularly focusing on Core network) with strong troubleshooting skills, then we want to hear from you

    Here are some of the other things you'll bring:

  • Industry experience in an ISP, Service Provider or Carrier environment
  • A broad and in-depth specialist experience in networking engineering, especially in MPLS and multi-vendor-based networks of scale
  • Excellent understanding of layer 2 and 3 technologies, including Ethernet, MPLS, LSP, IS-IS, COS, QoS, BGP and TCP/IP
  • Experience with the full design and service solution lifecycle
  • Experience producing high quality documentation
