- Hons Degree or Masters or PG Diploma in Physiotherapy
- Current full HCPC Registration
- Evidence of CPD activity, including nationally recognised training undertaken in relevant specialty
- Evidence of reflective practice, IST and CPD portfolio
- Knowledge and understanding of local/regional rehabilitation and reablement services
- Understand the importance of supported self-management model
- Experience of working effectively alone/un-supervised
- Broad based clinical experience covering core clinical areas in relevant specialism
- Post graduate experience of working within a community setting

Job summary
Are you looking for an exciting and varied job providing rehabilitation for Stroke survivors? An opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to join the Hull and East Riding Community Stroke Service as an Advanced Physiotherapist.
This service provides specialist assessment and rehabilitation to Stroke Survivors aged over 18, living in the Hull and East Riding area. Rehabilitation is ongoing in the patient's own home, or within a community based in-patient rehabilitation unit or local Community Hospital.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for prioritising and delivering physiotherapy input within the bedded unit and across the Hull and East Riding locality. You will need to have previous experience of working at Band 6 level or above and evidence of leadership skills.
The Community Stroke Service has a strong focus on clinical governance and provides a supportive framework for further learning. This post is key to the performance of the team, and your drive and enthusiasm will help support the success of the service.
As a Senior Clinician and caseload holder you will need effective interpersonal skills and positive leadership skills to support flexible and innovative approaches to problem solving.
