Senior Building Management Systems Engineer/Senior Building Technology Engineer
£55,000 - £65,000, bonus, benefits
City of London (travel will be required in this role)

THE ROLE
-The senior building technology engineer will be responsible for overseeing the work of engineers to ensure that installation, testing and commission of building services systems is successfully completed in line with standards.
-The senior building technology engineer will review the design and suggest improvements when needed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the building services systems.
-The senior building technology engineer will be involved in the development of Building Automation and Control System (BACS) design by completing drawings, schematics, control panel schedules and relevant documentation.
-The senior building technology engineer will programme and commission Building Automation and Control Systems software and hardware.
-The senior building technology engineer will provide guidance and training to customers on the use of smart building systems.
-The senior building technology engineer will ensure that all stakeholders involved are meeting project requirements in line with deadlines and budgets.
-The senior building technology engineer will be actively involved in projects delivery.
BACKGROUND, ESSENTIAL SKILLS
-The senior building technology engineer will have engineering design background and digital skills to work on creating intelligent buildings.
-The senior building technology engineer will be an experienced professional in the building management systems with a proven experience in a similar role.
-The senior building technology engineer will have a knowledge of protocols.
-The senior building technology engineer will have a degree in Building Services and/or Building Technology (Automation); candidates with a degree in relevant engineering disciplines will be considered if they have at least 5 years of demonstrable BMS experience.
-The senior building technology engineer will be proficient in KNX (ETS software) and/or other relevant building technology software.
-The senior building technology engineer will have worked on a variety of projects across sectors.
-The senior building technology engineer will have experience using engineering software programmes including AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and ACC.
-The senior building technology engineer will have a UK driving licence.
-The senior building technology engineer will be a well organised individual with excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
-The senior building technology engineer will communicate effectively and clearly in a straightforward and professional manner.
-The senior building technology engineer will be a great problem solver who can offer help and suggest solutions.
