We are delighted to be supporting a fantastic charity looking for an IT Infrastructure Analyst to join their every-growing team.


The IT Infrastructure Analyst is to be responsible for the availability, monitoring, performance and security of the ICT Infrastructure, to be responsible for the management and delivery of the technical aspects of projects carried out by the ICT departmentand to assist the service desk as a 3rd line of support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the availability, monitoring, performance, and security of IT infrastructure.
  • Exhibit good timemanagement skills, including dayplanning, scheduling and prioritisation of tasks, and the regular submission of timesheets to management.
  • Be responsible for the management and delivery of technical aspects of projects performed. These may include but not limited to running project stages within the PRINCE2 framework, and reporting progress upstream.
  • Evaluate new products and report findings to management using an appropriate framework.
  • Perform Incident Management within company standards, including logging incidents correctly, a thorough investigative process, and suitable remedial action.
  • Assist the Service Desk during low staff headcount
  • Be a point of escalation for the Service Desk when required.
  • Perform continuous monitoring of the IT environment when required.
  • Document all changes and configuration of the IT estate as and when they occur.
  • Follow the Change Management process, including the documentation of assets, configuration changes and seeking approval before undertaking any work.
  • Perform documented daily checks to ensure the continued availability of IT services.

Key Skills Required:

  • ICTrelated qualifications at degree level, or years proven experience in an IT production environment
  • Industryrecognised qualification or membership (CompTIA, BCS) (Desirable)
  • Windows Server 2008R2/2012/2016/2019 environments
  • Microsoft Exchange (2016/365)
  • Up to date knowledge of technology, hardware and software developments
  • Can relate technology to business, departmental and customer needs
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to deliver under pressure
  • Customerfocused with strong communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and selfmotivated
  • Committed to learn and take personal responsibility for own learning and development

Salary:
£31,000 per annum

This role is a hybrid working position, with 2 days in the office per month (onsite parking available)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 2:30pm, 8/9:00am - 3:30/4:30pm & 10:00am - 6:30pm
