Test Automation Engineer | Java | API | AWS | £55,000 | Hybrid - Milton Keynes |


WeDo are supporting a global leader in their chosen industry sector who provide intelligent solutions for a wide range of clientele including those both in the private and public sector.


They're looking for a Test Automation Engineer to be part of a rapidly growing Development team who's passion is creating the most innovative solutions that are used worldwide by small business all the way to enterprise blue-chips.


You'll be:

  • Analysing testing requirements for automation
  • Writing and implementing test cases using BDD and/ or TDD tools and practices
  • Building, developing and maintaining automation test scripts (API, Mobile, Integration, Regression, Frontend and Component)

Experience needed:

  • Automation experience is essential (building frameworks would be ideal but if not, developing and maintaining)
  • Understanding of Automation principles is essential
  • Prior experience with BDD and TDD is nonnegotiable
  • Experience with automation tools including: Selenium, Java, Cucumber, TestNG, Jira
  • Experience writing test scripts in Java and C#
  • Any experience or knowledge of JavaScript and React Native is favourable
  • Prior experience with AWS
  • Agile experience is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
**This is a hybrid role with 1 or 2 days per week expected in the office (near Milton Keynes) for at least the first month of employment. After this point, flexibility is granted.
