    Are you a dynamic and experienced individual who wants to be part of a team dedicated to championing change for children?

    An exciting opportunity has arisen in the East Sussex Education Division for the role of Service Support Officer.

    We are looking for an individual to work closely with our Head of Service within The Participation and Planning Team on a number of critical business support functions, including developing strategies, policies and guidance in relation to key improvement projects, implementation of new and redesign of existing processes and coordinate the compilation of responses to Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Local Government Ombudsman.

    The role is varied and will not only involve working with our Head of Service but also other Senior Managers and Stakeholders. Your role will include many different areas of work such as event coordination, training, quarterly report writing, managing diaries, handling enquiries and resolving issues.

    In addition to having proven experience in managing varied, busy and demanding workloads, you will be highly motivated, have an excellent eye for detail, be able to work collaboratively with staff, managers and key stakeholders and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment whilst managing conflicting priorities.

    This role will be hybrid, office base is County Hall, Lewes. It is for 37 hours a week and is a permanent contract.

    Interviews are scheduled for 1 May 2024 and will be in the form of a face-to-face interview, followed by a task. These will be held in County Hall, Lewes.
