    Description

    New Producers is a part-time paid training opportunity for individuals to create and deliver film screening activity for four established film exhibition organisations.

    New Producers is an exciting training opportunity for people who'd like to better understand how to produce film events for audiences in Scotland.

    The New Producers programme aims to provide a paid placement opportunity to work for a cinema or festival within Scotland.

    Four New Producers will be supported with training and will work closely with their Host organisation to learn all aspects of programming, marketing and delivery of film screening events.

    The programme offers a paid role for four months, based at an established film organisation in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dundee.

    The placement is offered part-time at the real living wage of £12 p/h*. Each role is offered for four months, 3 days per week, 8 hour days*.

    • Scottish Queer International Film Festival (SQIFF)
    • Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival (SMHAF)
    • You don't need any previous film experience, just a passion for cinema and an interest in working in the industry.
    Please note that this opportunity is not open to full time students.
