Overview of Responsibilities:
Who are we looking for?
- No day is the same, the post holder will interact with all levels of UKAEA and its stakeholders.
- Behaviours required: Tact, diplomacy, independent self starter, critical thinker, good understanding of administration and UKAEA processes.
What will you be responsible for?
- Carry out Business Impact Analysis and risk assessments to support Business Continuity plans and processes. Produce and maintain business continuity plans, and associated processes as required to support UKAEA's organisational resilience.
- Plan and deliver Business Continuity exercises to test and train business continuity arrangements across UKAEA for business resilience risks and threats.
- Support the planning and delivery of emergency arrangements exercises across UKAEA, including undertaking the roles of exercise directing staff, umpires and debrief exercises, producing reports and action plans and tracking actions to completion.
- Secretary to a number of Emergency Planning Task and Finish Working Groups as required.
- Carrying out small projects and other work as delegated by the Business Resilience Group Manager requiring the post holder to organise their workload, prioritise appropriately and work independently.

Qualifications:
Essential skills, experience and competence required
- Training in a business resilience discipline (e.g., business continuity, emergency planning, security risk management certificate) or equivalent experience, however relevant work experience in an engineering, administrative or project management environment or critical national infrastructure in a leading/management role would also be accepted.
- To hold or be able to achieve an SC security clearance. An offer for this role is conditional on achieving an SC clearance.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to interact with a wide range of personnel both internal and external.
Desirable skills, experience and competence
- Experience of the civil nuclear industry and or critical national infrastructure.
- Experience of dealing with personal and sensitive data in a controlled and professional manner.
