- Undertakea detailed inspection of the machine to confirm or expand on anyinitial field inspection report so that a commercial assessment ofthe likely repair, replacement refurbishment work can bemade.
- Carry out standard diagnosis tests onmachine components to enable more accurate cost evaluations or forthe issue of condition and warranty agreements tocustomers.
- Produce a comprehensive list ofparts and materials required for the proposed machine preparationwork.
- Undertake overhaul, repair orrefurbishment work on the machine to the agreed work plan, removingand dispatching components for specialist attention, re-installingthe original or replacement part or repairing originalparts.
- Inspect and test completed machine toensure unit is operating to expected performancelevels.

- Electrical,hydraulic and mechanical fittingknowledge
- Preferablywith a background in materials handling
- Eitherapprentice trained or minimum 5 years' experience in qualityservice environment within a similarindustry
- A licence to drive reach trucksis required
- Practical experience in operatingconstruction equipment in confined spaces and mechanical fittingwork on large-scalemachines
