An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic individuals to join our MSEFT Learning Disability Team.


We are advertising for Band 4 Learning Disability Liaison Practitioners to support the Learning Disability Liaison Nurses at each of the three main acute hospital sites - Basildon, Broomfield and Southend.


To support access to acute hospital services and reduction of health inequalities for people with learning disabilities and/or people on the autism spectrum.


To work with the Learning Disability Liaison Nurse Specialist to support the acute hospital in managing the complex health needs of people with a learning disability and/or people on the autism spectrum.

To support the interface between mainstream acute hospital services, primary care services and community specialist disability/autism services.

To work collaboratively with healthcare and multi-agency colleagues.


To contribute to the on-going implementation and evaluation of delegated caseload and reporting all clinical and behavioral outcomes to the delegating nurse.
