    We have a brandnew role at Ground Control for a Contract Manager to join our MechArb team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe andefficient completion of specific Mech Arbdevegetation projectsacross the UK adhering to established procedures and meetingproject deadlines.

    Your days will be a mix ofproactive lead generation project management and ensuring smoothoperations of the Mech Arb team. Heres a glimpse into what you canexpect:

    KeyResponsibilities will beto:

    • Uphold proceduralcompliance ensuring all Mech Arb activities adhere to establishedprotocols and meet program timeframes.
    • Ensureall teams involved in Mech Arb are properly trained and possess thenecessary skills for the task including relevant tickets andcompliance.
    • Communicate and ensure allrelevant contractors understand the Mech Arb procedures.
    • Implement safety measures including thedevelopment and implementation of Safe Methods of Work RiskAssessments and Lifting/ALO Plans before work commences.
    • Maintain all required documentation related toMech Arb activities is uploaded to the designated SharePointworkspace.
    • Ensure invoices for completed MechArb work accurately reflect the specifications and agreements inplace.
    • Actively seek new work opportunitiesboth within the company and externally.
    • Conduct site visits and surveys to gatherinformation and assess potential new projects.
    • Prepare comprehensive documentation based onsite visits to support project proposals.
    • Create quotations outlining project scopecosts and timelines for potential clients.
    • Liaise with clients to answer questionsaddress concerns and build relationships.
    • Setup new projects in the D365 system including setting up invoicesfor signoff.
    • Assign teams to projectsfacilitate site inductions and allocate site work using designatedsheets.
    • Oversee the compliance of all assignedteams regarding work tickets and procedures onsite.
    • Utilize forecasting techniques to anticipateupcoming workload and resource needs.

    This role offers a diverse andengaging work environment where youll play a vital role in drivingnew business ensuring project efficiency and maintaining smoothoperations in the Mech Arb team.

    Who are we lookingfor

    This is the ideal role for anexisting Contract Manager with Arb experience who is looking tomove into the Mech world and focus on this area in their career.Arb experience is essential and any experience using largemachinery would be an advantage for example CPCS tickets would beideal.

    The Arb Mech team have a depot in Newarkhowever work is distributed across the whole of the UK. Thereforeyou must have a flexible attitude to work and be able to stay awayand work occasional nights and weekends depending on live projects.

    This role is ideal for individuals who aredetailorientated safetyconscious and possess strong organizationaland communication skills. Previous contract management experienceand managing teams both directly and also as subcontractors is alsoa requirement.
