OTC & ETD Derivatives EMIR & MiFID II Regulatory Reporting/ Trade & Transaction Reporting - Senior Vice President (VP) Level


Martis Search is representing a global, award-winning, City of London based Trading organisation to hire a permanent "OTC & ETD Derivatives EMIR & MiFID II Regulatory Reporting/ Trade & Transaction Reporting - Senior Vice President (VP) Level.

The role reports into a senior Operations Manager, is a newly created role due to business growth and the team is responsible for Regulatory Reporting/ Trade & Transaction Reporting, supporting multiple trading desks.


The team is responsible for all Regulatory Reporting that come under EMIR/ MiFID II, all as SFTR and Dodd Frank regulations.

The role is senior i.e. a VP level, but only in terms of experience and does not require any management of staff.


The role will initially be x 4 days per week in their London office, with x 1 day working from home and an adult attitude to having to work from home relating to dentist, doctor's appointments etc.


The role sits within their London office and supports global Trading desks who are trading multi asset classes with global Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Asset Managements, Commodity trading companies.

Our client is looking for someone with extensive Regulatory Reporting/ Trade & Transaction Reporting experience, with a strong working knowledge across Structured Derivatives/ OTC Derivatives

  • OTC Exotic Fixed Income Derivatives
  • OTC Commodity Derivatives
  • Futures & Options
  • FX/ FX Derivatives
  • Structured Products
  • Cryptocurrencies


Having strong Operational understanding of the Regulatory Reporting requirements for Exotic OTC Derivatives across EMIR and MiFID II is mandatory, having a sound knowledge of SFTR and Dodd Frank regulations is highly advantageous.

Relevant experience gained within a reputable, high volume Investment Bank, or Institutional Brokerage is essential.


The role sits on the trading floor and there is an opportunity to be involved with both the day-to-day BAU Regulatory Reporting, as well as related project management/ change management.


Our client is growing with new asset class and business launches, business acquisition and the Regulatory Reporting team is now responsible for providing this services for all asset-classes, across all business lines.

This means a lot of change and different short-term and long-term project work around new system implementations and process improvement, making the position interesting and varied in terms of responsibilities.

Salary
£70 k pa - £80 k pa plus bonus, pension, healthcare and other related benefits.
