    This role requires a candidate that can provide support for 15 hrs per week. 5 hrs per day for 3 days a week.

We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

    Are you an enthusiastic individual looking for a new challenge within the care sector?

    The Role

    As activities co-ordinator you will look to create, plan and organise an interesting and varied program of daily activities, entertainment and events, promoting the wellbeing of the residents. Duties may include:

  • Liaise with external companies to organise entertainment
  • Listening to the residents though conversation and questionnaires to aid producing a popular program of events/activities/entertainment
  • Develop a rapport with local community churches, schools, gyms ect...
  • Work alongside care staff, coordinating hairdressing/chiropody visits etc.
  • Organise raffles & fund raising events for the residents/home.
  • About you:

    We are looking for a cheerful, outgoing, passionate individual with a creative flair. The ideal person will be organised and have some experience working with in the care sector, therefore being able to understand the needs of residents aiding activity choices. No experience as activates co-ordinator is required but a positive, enthusiastic attitude is a must.
