    Contract Manager - Municipal Waste

    Salary: Up to £58,000 plus bonus, company car/cash allowance and pension

    Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week

    Location: Westminster, London

    What you'll be doing;

    • Lead the team to deliver municipal contracts in line with defined contract KPIs and specifications, whilst maintaining a visible presence for employees on site and on the rounds.
    • Manage people, vehicles and equipment to the best effect, prioritising the wellbeing of our employees and the service we provide to our customers and communities.
    • Ensure compliance against Veolia minimum standards and support with assurance checks and improvement planning to enhance contract performance.
    • Ensure the depot and collection operations are run in line with Veolia Minimum Requirements and address any areas of non compliance.
    • Utilise date to improve operational performance.
    • Manage monthly financial performance and set and present budgets.
    • Deliver the contract against the required budgets and KPIs.
    • Manage customer complaints effectively to support the reduction of escalations.
    • Manage the performance of the contract, overseeing expenditure, staffing and resources.
    • Maintain a compliant and well run fleet of vehicles.
    • Challenge behaviour of site users if required and promote a safe working environment.
    • Champion inclusion within the workplace.
    • Ensure customer service KPIs are achieved.

    What we're looking for;

    • A strong leader, with previous experience managing a large team within the waste industry.
    • Previous experience of managing financial performance and budgets.
    • Fleet management experience and knowledge of compliance.
    • IOSH Managing Safely/NEBOSH
    • Effective delegation skills.
    • Strong business acumen and effective communication skills.
