    Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
    Working 36.5 hours per week

    In this role you will serve as a key member of the Directorate Management Team,leading on the development, promotion and implementation of long term visioning and strategic planning for the directorate, alongside developing shorter-term strategic priorities and plans in alignment with the corporate plan, which deliver value for money and improve outcomes for residents.

    You'll be required to maintain oversight and ensure priority actions and work-streams remain aligned to the plan.

    In addition, you'll track projects and initiatives, following up on action items, status updates and supporting plans, to ensure actions and decisions are followed through to completion.


    Other duties include:
    Routinely bring together multiple senior level stakeholders with divergent perspectives and drive decisions, resolve conflicts, influencing to successful outcomes and ensure a variety of perspectives are considered
    Assist the Directorate Management Team members to navigate uncertainty and risk
    Anticipate, plan and manage events for the directorate
    Support the preparation of activities such as strategy meetings,ensuring appropriate synergies and cross functional collaboration takes place.
    Develop and implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure operational performance and drive continuous improvement, with associated key metrics and performance indicators

    In order to be considered for this opportunity you must have a strong track record either working in a strategic advisory role, managing production of insightful analysis and translating this into actionable insights that inform key decisions .

    You must have strong leadership skills, with the additional ability to interact effectively with people with diverse styles, make informed decisions, find solutions, encourage and support change.
