- Attending meetings with the Head of Department and note-taking
- Attending Court hearings with counsel as a notetaker
- Attending client meetings and conferences with counsel as a notetaker
- Contacting clients, the Court, opponents and other professionals
- Prepare various applications, including divorce applications and Forms A on the portal and paper applications; C100 Applications (Children Act), Form FL401 (Family Law Act), C2 Applications (interim applications within Children Act Applications), D11 Applications (interim applications within Financial Remedy proceedings)
- Prepare Court Bundles
- Drafting briefs to counsel
- Prepare documentation in Financial Remedy proceedings: Forms E and enclosures, questionnaires, replies to questionnaire, updating financial disclosure and the like
- Prepare witness statements and exhibits
- Diarise Court Orders and directions
- Assist with monthly billing
- Assisting with the general running of files
