    Hammerson House Wohl Campus isa modern 116 bedded home near East Finchley Tube station withresidential nursing dementia respite and palliative careservices.

    The home offers a warm and comfortableenvironment with personalised care that centralises the needs ofthe residents with onsite therapists dieticians and a wealth ofactivities for residents to enjoy.

    HammersonHouse has been rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)in its first year ofoperation.

    About theRole

    Reporting to the Head ofActivities this exciting opportunity will lead in the developmentof a stimulating motivating and personalised engagement programmefor our residents withdementia.

    Working as partof a team you will be responsible for ensuring that high standardsof physical intellectual and social engagement are provided withthe aim of enhancing the wellbeing of the residents in our dementiacare unit.

    Who are we lookingfor

    You will be passionate aboutcaring for older people and have experience in leading on thedevelopment and delivery of personalised engagement programmes forthe elderly living with dementia.

    You take pridein ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard andcan maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiplerequests at once youll be comfortable multitasking able to work onyour own initiative unsupervised and where necessary working withother teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in theirhomes.

    You will have a cheerful compassionaterespectful and caring approach and good communication andinterpersonal skills with an understanding of the needs of olderpeople and the desire to make a positive contribution to the livesofothers.

    Hours

    FullTime 37.5 hours aweek

    Salary

    26233per annum 1 Year Fixedterm with possibility of becomingpermanent
