The Hiring Heroes are on the lookout for Textile Operatives for a well established têxtile manufacturer in the Ossett area.

Please note this job will involve working 3 shift patterns, one week morning, one week afternoons and one week night shift.

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL 3 SHIFTS.

Job role

Safe operation of carpet tufting machinery and equipment in line with company 'standard operating procedures', in order to make excellent quality carpet.
We're looking for someone
dexterous with nimble fingers and a great work ethic, who can lift some light and heavy weighted creels.
Ensure all products are manufactured to specification.
Help maintain a safe working environment by having a proactive approach to safety and housekeeping.
Ensure all equipment defects are reported and logged, via the team leader, onto the company maintenance system.
Complete all process paperwork / computer work in an accurate and timely manner.
Have good team working, a 'can do' attitude and a willingness to work flexibly
To work in a professional manner at all times and comply with the company's policy and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred
Knowledge of garment construction, millwork, or related industries is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for long periods of time
Proficient in using various tools and equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Excellent teamwork and communication skills

The Hours are 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am Monday to Friday, these are a rotation shift and NOT set shifts.

From £10.75 per hour
