Do you have experience of working in the area of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities?


The college is looking to recruit a Learning Support Coordinator to support the Additional Learning Support Manager in leading the Learning Support team in providing support for students through the delivery of an outstanding Learning Support programme.


In this role you will:

  • Work in collaboration with the ALS Manager leading on all aspects of the SEND agenda, deputising where required.
  • Line manage a team of Learning Support Assistants and deploy them effectively in supporting high needs students, adults and apprentices.
  • Ensure all high needs students receive outstanding learning support and are supported to ensure successful achievement, progression and completion of relevant qualifications.
  • Work in collaboration with and deputise for the ALS Manager in leading on all aspects of compliance with the SEN Code of Practice and Local Authorities in regard to EHCP's, the annual review process and consultations.
