If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer with Welding experience to join our repairs and maintenance division in Coatbridge .
The primary role of a Commercial Gas Engineer will be testing all equipment and appliances within our council properties to ensure they function and meet all safety standards as well as recognise and assess any risks that occur.
The successful candidate will be required to install and commission pipework systems and gas appliances along with repairing or replacing other plants.
Qualified to City and Guilds/ SVQ Level 3 Gas Service Engineer standardHold appropriate Commercial & Domestic ACS certification
Hold a welding qualification
Good understanding of current legislation, building control requirements and governing body requirements
Previous commercial and domestic gas experience is essential
Full UK driving license
