Overview:


Penningtons Manches Cooper are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Resourcing administrator with a logical mindset, great attention to detail and a constant focus on process improvement.

The role sits in the Resourcing team (which comprises Lateral Recruitment and Early Careers) within the wider HR team of a top 50 UK law firm.


You will support key annual early careers activities such as law fairs, assessment centres, vacation scheme programme planning and bespoke programmes such as EMpower and our A-Level work experience programme.

The role will operate on a firmwide team basis, and occasional travel between UK offices may be required.


Responsibilities:

The responsibilities listed below are intended to be a broad but not exhaustive list.

  • Organising early careers events, and administration of assessment centres
  • Operate as the resourcing teams applicant tracking system (iCIMS) super user with responsibility for; the preparation and analysis of recruitment data to provide regular dashboards and data insights, and cyclical systems activity
  • Daytoday management of applicant tracking system to include job uploads, archiving vacancies, managing responses to direct applicants and agencies
  • Job uploads to LinkedIn careers page and other third party sites
  • Manage the resourcing team's purchase order requirements and review, reconcile and process all monthly/annual HR invoices, providing supporting data for the Finance Team as appropriate.
  • Assist with the running of the firms vacation scheme programme
  • Supporting the team on recruitment projects including PSL review, interview best practice and promoting diversity and inclusion
  • Working collaboratively with HR business support team and specialist HR team
  • Support the HR Team with any other adhoc or regular requests as they may arise.

Essential & Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous recruitment experience ideally within a professional services setting, either in house, agency or RPO (desirable)
  • Service orientated with a positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Advanced IT skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate data is essential.
  • Highly organised and enjoys a highpaced and dynamic working environment
  • Ability to deliver under pressure within tight deadlines, whilst maintaining high attention to detail at all times.
  • Demonstrates a clear ability to manage and prioritise a complex and changing workload from a number of different sources
  • A curious mindset that will challenge processes and suggest improvements
  • Ability to collaborate and have a strong team orientation
