Are you highly experienced Senior Data Strategy and Governance specialist ?

Would you like to work for an award winning Data Management and Analytics consultancy who work very closely with leading software vendors and industry experts?

You will be based from one of their regional offices in London, Sunderland or Edinburgh however its hybrid working so a mix of working from home, on client site and meetings in the office when needed.

I'm looking for senior level candidates who have worked in Retail Banking / Financial Services.

What we are looking for is:

• Multi skilled experience in the concepts and delivery of Data Strategy & Governance. For example: Data Policies, Data Standards, Data Governance Framework, Data Quality Framework, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, Management Information and Data and Analytics.
• The ability to deliver data strategy & governance tasks as part of a wider framework.
• Project experience in defining and implementing data quality rules as well as having the ability to develop reporting to support the review and remediation of DQ issues that may be identified.
• Project experience in defining and cataloguing critical data elements. For example, defining authoritative data sources of critical elements, classifying data, identifying data ownership, applying business definitions.
• Project experience in delivery of projects to ensure compliance with key policies and standards eg. BCBS, GDPR etc.
• Project experience in profiling data. For example, using existing data quality rules to analyse historical data to determine its accuracy.
• Experience with the use of data strategy & governance tools such as Informatica, Collibra, MS Purview, Snowflake, Snowsight.
• Project experience using proven delivery methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Testing), frameworks and best practices.
• Advanced working knowledge in SQL and relational databases (Teradata, Microsoft SQLServer, Oracle or SAS), as well as working familiarity with a variety of NoSQL databases and cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Technical Business Analysis experience.
• A proactive awareness of industry standards, regulations, and developments.
• Has delivered successful projects in highly regulated sectors, particularly Financial services.

• Mentoring/employee development experience
