Network Infrastructure Engineer

• £40,000 - £45,000 per year (depending on experience).
  
• Birmingham Head Office based with hybrid work options: 9am to 530pm Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with 24 hour on call responsibility on a shared basis.

Overview of this role:

Responsible for an IT infrastructure (that underpins all business systems) for a large entertainment business with 30+ land-based sites, multiple online services, and an entertainment complex. You will have technical understanding for supporting the logical and physical network.

Duties:

• LAN, WAN & WLAN - 2nd & 3rd line support, managing and providing reports, deployment of infrastructure (on prem and in public cloud).
  
• Ownership of process, documentation, and technical problems / issues (even when they are passed onto 3rd party suppliers for a final resolution).
  
• Working on call 24 hours per day on a shared basis with other IT Managers.
  
• Working within Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines and responsible for making recommendations to change SLA's (if appropriate).
