    Description
    Electrical Maintenance Engineer
    • Our client, a leading processing and manufacturing company are in search of an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their highly reputable company.
    *Installation, repair, and upkeep of all electrical and/or mechanical production equipment.

    • Electrical/Mechanical fault diagnosis.
    • Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are followed and completed in full.
    • Implement solutions to help improve machine reliability and quality standards.
    • Comply with food safety, quality, legality, and environmental policies.
    • Manage fire safety checks including daily panel, weekly break glass and monthly equipment checks.
    • Work closely with outside contractors and assist where required.
    • Report to maintenance manager on any issues or recommended alterations to any process or machine.
    • Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations.
    • Assist in team projects and any other reasonable tasks.
    *The successful candidate will be qualified to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent with a recognised engineering apprenticeship or training programme.

    • Will have relevant industry experience with exposure to fast paced production.
    • Have the ability to carry out electrical and mechanical PLC's, fault diagnosis and repairs.
    • More than 3 years of experience in a maintenance role or similar.
    • Good Communication Skills in English (interpersonal, listening, written and oral) and a working knowledge of English.
    • Food manufacturing experience preferable
