Overview:
Permanent, full-time, hybrid (3 days per week in an office) #LI-Hybrid
- To provide full client service for the exchange cleared business of SFL.
- Assist in the marketing of new clients, to include business meetings when required.
- To assist management with ongoing development to Client Services while the department transitions into supporting a wider range of business lines including FX, Precious Metals and Prime Services.
Responsibilities:
Provide day to day coverage and drive process improvement in the following areas across all markets:
- Daily agreement, collection and reporting of all client margins & cash debits.
- Liaising with trading desks and internal departments for the creation and maintenance of all new and existing accounts.
- Onboarding new clients, providing detailed understanding of statements and SFL procedures regarding clients.
- Resolution of all client queries.
- Agreement of all IB rebates.
- Ensure all internal procedures are understood and comply with general FCA principles of business.
- Liaise with exchanges and CCPs where required and ensure all exchange/CCP changes are managed correctly internally where affecting clients and/or margins.
- Driving the improvement of existing processes to ensure that duties are being executed correctly and effectively.
- Working with internal teams such as Risk and the Front Office to promote better practices and lines of communication.
- Monitoring and escalating issues that require senior management and/or Compliance attention.
- Keeping all processes under management fully documented with updated written procedures available for review at all times.
- Working with both internal and external auditors to ensure they are provided with the necessary information as required.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and Experience
- Extensive experience in Operations with a strong understanding of Client Services.
- Extensive experience of Commodity ETD markets.
- Knowledge of Prime services, FX & Precious Metals preferred.
- Full trade life cycle knowledge from execution to reporting.
- Good understanding of exchange and regulatory requirements.
- Good understanding of ION's XTP backoffice system and surrounding modules preferred.
- Working knowledge of clearing and backoffice systems including but not limited to: FastFill Seals, XTP, ARC, Duco.
Qualification and Skills
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong problemsolving skills
- Effective planning, organisational and time management skills
- Commercial awareness
- Proactive and analytical thinker with the ability to generate and execute innovative ideas.
- Ability to think strategically and contribute to department and division wide initiatives.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
