    Project Manager- Civil Contractor

    We are a leading civil engineering and design-build construction company, dedicated to delivering innovative and high-quality projects across Dumfries and the surrounding areas.

    As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

    Manage all aspects of assigned construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, specifications, and regulations.


    • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and procurement of materials and subcontractors.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement proactive measures to mitigate delays or disruptions.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure work is being carried out according to established standards and specifications.
    • Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and budget forecasts.
    • Manage project budgets and financial performance, tracking expenditures, analysing cost variances, and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
    • Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and adherence to project objectives.
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
