GSL Education are working alongside a really well regarded Secondary school in the Newcastle area. We are recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 3 and 4

The role is Monday - Friday and the working hours are 8:30am-4:30pm.

This will be an immediate start.

Requirements of the role

Be able to work effectively with teachers in providing great quality Maths and English assistance
A real hunger to upskill in planning and lesson delivery
Confident in supervising the classroom for periods of time or in case of shortterm absence.
Relevant setting or classroom experience
Great level of Maths and English
Enhanced DBS on the update service
Kind, Calm and enthusiastic and proactive in the classroom
Brilliant rapport building skills

In addition to that, we are currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants.
