    Deputy Personnel Security Controller (Vetting)

    Location Bracknell : Travel to other locations may be required

    This role supports the Group Security team who oversee physical and personnel security across the North and Western Europe estate by ensuring CCTV, Access Control and Building Security are all effective and efficient.

    Your role will involve but is not limited to:

  • Acting as deputy Personnel Security Controller in support of HMG customer accounts and IPSA
  • Supporting and defining policy regarding the pre-employment screening process
  • Supporting and defining policy regarding the National Security Vetting process
  • Acting as the liaison with Investigative Authorities on behalf of Fujitsu
  • Gathering evidence to support security Investigations.
  • Deliver security training and briefings.
  • Management of security incidents as necessary
  • Police clearance account management.
  • Ownership of clearance computer systems including managing system changes and providing direction and priorities for development work by liaising with DSPU team in Derry.
  • Vetting Aftercare by leading calls with HR and liaising with HR Case Teams.
  • Preparing documents for Industry Personnel Security Assurance accreditation.
  • Managing Excel tools for Audit, Aftercare, PERS, Invoices, Saviom and Footfall
  • Policy and Process docs for Vetting and Card Access
  • Ownership of BI & R reports
  • Bid alignment calls.
  • General vetting calls and decisions
  • Presentations about vetting to HR (and others) regarding employment and clearances
  • Other responsibilities within the team cover Event Security, Executive Security, Travel Security and investigative responsibilities pertaining to security incidents.

    Your transferable skills and experience:

  • Experience with vetting and clearance management
  • Investigative experience within Security, Policing or Military
  • Experience of managing budgets
  • A true leader supporting and managing small teams
  • Liaison with HMG Customers
  • Policy making
