    Are you a highly skilled and experienced Credit Control Manager who can lead a team of credit control managers and credit controllers to achieve departmental and company goals? This role offers a unique opportunity to lead credit control operations across diverse geographical regions and contribute to the continued success and growth of one of the world's most well loved brands. You would play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing credit control processes across the UK, EU, and ROW. Leveraging your expertise in financial management and credit analysis, your responsibilities will extend to overseeing credit risk assessments, implementing credit policies.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement credit control strategies tailored to the UK, EU, and ROW regions to optimize cash flow and minimize credit risk/ debtor days.
    • Lead and mentor a team of credit control managers and controllers, providing guidance and support in managing customer accounts and resolving payment issues.
    • Monitor and analyse payment trends and customer behaviours, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
    • Monitor credit risk exposure and implement risk mitigation measures.
    • Collaborate closely with sales, customer services, operations, and legal teams to resolve complex credit issues and negotiate payment terms when necessary.
    • Ensure maintenance of accurate records of credit transactions and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.
    • Ensure successful implementation of new ERP to support automation within the credit control and accounts receivable function.

    About you:

    • Proven experience (3+ years) in credit control management within a wholesale or distribution environment, with a track record of success in managing large-scale credit portfolios.
    • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications such as ACCA or CICM are advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of financial principles, credit risk assessment techniques, and credit management best practices.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coach and motivate a team.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, both verbal and written.
    • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in managing financial data and transactions.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems is preferred.

    This is a hybrid role, based at the Head Office in West London.
