Our client is seeking a full-time and permanent Accounts Payable Assistant

You would be working 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £24,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a full-time and permanent Accounts Payable Assistant to join the existing finance team of 6.

You would be working 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, this role would be office based during the training period and once you are fully embedded in the team there may be potential for Hybrid working.

The Accounts Payable Assistant Requirements

Experience as a Accounts Payable Assistant or experience in a similar role
Experience in a finance role in a fastpaced environment with high volume of invoices
Great communications skills/ability to relay key information to colleagues
Proficiency in MS Excel at intermediate to advanced level
A proactive attitude to work
The ability to work to strict deadlines and the willingness to work additional hours if needed (time to be taken back in lieu)
A firm but fair approach to dealing with colleagues and their expenses
Attention to detail

The Accounts Payable Assistant Role

Entry and reconciliation of ledgers
Code, match and input stock and nonstock supplier invoices
Process intercompany invoices
Reconciliation of suppliers' monthly statements and internal expenses
Resolve queries from suppliers and other departments
Payment runs
Assist with monthend/ year end accounts and procedures
Supply of audit information
Support with ad hoc finance tasks

Ledger Clerk, Sales Ledger Clerk, Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, Accounts Administrator, Finance Clerk, or Account Clerk.
