Our industrial client is looking to recruit an experienced Head of HR to join their expanding organisation for a hybrid role.
The Head of HR will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of HR for the European region.This position will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent and drive business results.
This role will be both strategic and operational and requires a strong background in HR operations, talent management, and employee relations.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic approach to European HR management in alignment with the global HR strategy
- Provide strategic business partnership to the European senior management team, supporting longterm business goals
- Ensure HR issues are given full consideration in all decision making, providing professional advice and guidance to senior management, middle management and consultative groups
- Develop and implement appropriate human resources policies, procedures, and standards, evaluating legacy programs,
- Lead the European direct and indirect human resources support staff to ensure all local business needs are met
- Responsible for the development and implementation of cost effective and efficient recruitment, selection and introduction/onboarding programs
- Ensure salaries and benefits are regularly reviewed and are in line with relevant sectors and areas of the business based on geographic considerations
- Manage training and development of staff; create annual needs analysis and develop and implement training plan, considering ethics, harassment, safety, and other required training
- Provide support and guidance to managers on a wide range of HRrelated issues, including employee relations, performance management, discipline, grievance, and any such matters
Person Specification
- Bachelor's degree/equivalent, Master's degree preferred in human resources or similar discipline
- 8 or more years' experience in HR management, with a strong background in HR operations, talent management, and employee relations
- Prior experience leading HR in a multicountry European region
- Prior experience managing a remote HR team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels in the organization
- Strong leadership presence and training/presentation skills

£63,000.00-£67,500.00 per year
