Our industrial client is looking to recruit an experienced Head of HR to join their expanding organisation for a hybrid role.

The Head of HR will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of HR for the European region.

This position will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent and drive business results.

This role will be both strategic and operational and requires a strong background in HR operations, talent management, and employee relations.

Role Responsibilities

Develop a strategic approach to European HR management in alignment with the global HR strategy
Provide strategic business partnership to the European senior management team, supporting longterm business goals
Ensure HR issues are given full consideration in all decision making, providing professional advice and guidance to senior management, middle management and consultative groups
Develop and implement appropriate human resources policies, procedures, and standards, evaluating legacy programs,
Lead the European direct and indirect human resources support staff to ensure all local business needs are met
Responsible for the development and implementation of cost effective and efficient recruitment, selection and introduction/onboarding programs
Ensure salaries and benefits are regularly reviewed and are in line with relevant sectors and areas of the business based on geographic considerations
Manage training and development of staff; create annual needs analysis and develop and implement training plan, considering ethics, harassment, safety, and other required training
Provide support and guidance to managers on a wide range of HRrelated issues, including employee relations, performance management, discipline, grievance, and any such matters

Person Specification

Bachelor's degree/equivalent, Master's degree preferred in human resources or similar discipline
8 or more years' experience in HR management, with a strong background in HR operations, talent management, and employee relations
Prior experience leading HR in a multicountry European region
Prior experience managing a remote HR team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels in the organization
Strong leadership presence and training/presentation skills

As the role will have European-wide responsibility, travel will be required on an ad-hoc basis. There is the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week. In return you will receive a salary of between £63,000-£67,500 plus car allowance and bonus.
