    Administrative Assistant

    Basildon

    £25,463 - £26,803 per year

    37.5 hours per week

    We have a great opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our busy Team, based in Essex. The role of Administrative Assistant will see you providing excellent administrative support to the team in order to support the delivery of a high-quality, cost-effective housing service that involves liaising with a range of internal teams.

    The role of Administrative Assistant will include:

    • Delivering a high quality customer focused administrative support service to internal and external customers
    • Maintaining effective filing systems, database records and processes
    • Proactively managing complaints for service area, focusing on first contact resolution
    • Developing, building and maintaining relationships with residents and stakeholders
    • Updating and maintaining all manual and computerised records in an accurate and timely manner

    Skills and experiences:

    • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role in a customer service environment
    • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
    • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
    • Working knowledge of producing and analysing statistical data and compiling reports
    • A basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel (or similar)
