- Minimum Level 2 in literacy and numeracy
- Minimum Level 3 in teaching and training, with a willingness to pursue Level 5 or PGCE
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification would be desirable
- Relevant QCF Assessor qualification (e.g., D32/D33/A1/CAVA/TAQA Assessor)
- Relevant Internal Verifier/Internal Quality Assurer qualification (e.g., D34/V1)
- At least five years of experience in the education sector
- Experience in leading teams, delivering quality assurance, and working with employers is desirable
- High ethical and professional standards
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and people management abilities
- Commercially aware and motivated to achieve KPIs and business objectives
- Committed to equality, diversity, health, and safety
- Lead and inspire a team of tutors to deliver high-quality training and assessment
- Ensure all training programs meet Ofsted, Awarding Body, and funder standards
- Regularly report on performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Innovate and implement curriculum changes aligned with organisational and governmental priorities
- Develop and execute strategies for quality improvement in assessment, moderation, and verification processes
- Coordinate and support quality assurance observations throughout the learning journey
- Manage internal verification processes and mentor new staff
- Utilise technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences for learners
- Provide comprehensive staff development and promote a strong customer service ethos
- Directly influence annual budgets and oversee a team of tutors
- Ensure consistent achievement of business targets and maintain high standards in all deliveries
- Foster strong internal and external communications with key stakeholders and awarding bodies
- Collaborate with the Head of Quality, Curriculum & Safeguarding, Quality and Curriculum Manager, Head of Claims and Compliance, Marketing, and Employer Engagement teams
- Engage with awarding bodies, employers, and other key stakeholders
- Make independent operational decisions related to curriculum delivery and quality assurance

As the IQA and Curriculum Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our training programs meet and surpass government policies, contractual compliance, and funding requirements. This is a leadership position where you will manage a team of tutors, oversee the delivery of standards/frameworks or AEB qualifications, and drive continuous improvement in performance.
