    The role holder will supervise and support the distribution strategy and vehicle operations to a high standard of professionalism and safety set out by the Company.

    The role is critical in providing a first-class and efficient customer service offering demand and planning, as you will be one of the initial points of contact for our business.

    Reporting on all elements of LGV driver operations at agreed units.
    Responsible for carry out the required LGV driver debriefs.
    Achieve and maintain key performance indicators.
    To include daily vehicle checks, vehicle maintenance arrangements and driving hours.
    Collaborate with maintenance providers to ensure maximum fleet availability is achieved.
    Achieve and maintain a close working relationship with LGV drivers, the planning team, production, and any appropriate contractors.
    Effectively be a communication conduit between LGV drivers, planners & plant management team.
    Provide training, mentoring, and coaching when appropriate to facilitate continuing improvement in resource development.
    LGV 1 driving license.
    Multi modal logistics experience.
    Experience within a transport operation.
    Strong computer literacy skills.
    Flexible and committed.
    Experience of planning and allocation of resources.
    Knowledge of transport legislation or a willingness to learn (CPC).
    Formal Health & Safety Qualification (NEBOSH / IOSH Managing Safety) or willingness to work towards achievement.
