    Band 5 Occupational Therapist

    Location/Base :
    Rehabilitation and High Support Care Hub

    To provide Occupational Therapy assessment, treatment and review of service users who experience serious mental Illness (SMI).

    The post holder will work at Heathfield House and across the Care Hub and be responsible for an allocated caseload (under supervision).

    To provide in-service training.
    To develop and maintain community links to increase social inclusion and community integration.
    To be responsible for the day to day management of petty cash and its use to promote rehabilitation.

    Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy.
    Experience working in low secure / rehabilitation settings.

    Experience working in a mental health setting.

    Good understanding of the role of an Occupational Therapist in the mental health setting.
    Good understanding of risk assessment.

    Aware of the limitations of Occupational Therapy
    Flexible to meet the needs of the service.
