    • Located at our East Grinstead office
    • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:15pm

    Buss Murton Law is a well-established law firm providing highly experienced Solicitors to Kent and the South-East with offices in Tunbridge Wells, Cranbrook and East Grinstead.

    You will be joining a small, friendly team which forms part of a larger complement of residential property fee-earners across all three offices.

    Some key responsibilities include:

    • Day to day conduct of matters on behalf of clients in respect of all property matters including leasehold, new builds, shared ownership and land transactions.
    • Liaising with estate agents on a regular basis
    • Explaining complex legal matters to clients
    • Financial control with regard to cashflow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
    • To meet agreed time recording, billing and recovery of costs targets.
    • To develop and maintain client relationships
    • To ensure the client is regularly informed of work in progress and continuing contact is maintained.
    • To exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner at all times.
    • To take positive steps to ensure that existing clients are aware of the various types of legal work carried out by the firm.
    • To participate in marketing activities organised by the Marketing department and taking advantage of networking and business development opportunities.

    Who we are looking for someone:

    • Ideally with at least 2-3 years PQE
    • Who enjoys working with others as part of a team
    • Who can demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong commitment to meeting the needs of clients
    • Who embraces new technology and has a willingness to learn new methods, procedures and techniques
