    Description

    Our client, a dynamic and growing firm located in London, is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Tax Assistant to join their dedicated team.

    This full-time position, based in the London office, presents a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute significantly to the firm's ongoing success.


    Responsibilities:
    As a Tax Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client's London team and contributing to the overall growth of the firm


    Key responsibilities include:
    Collaborating closely with the Tax Principal and Senior Manager to foster an excellent team
    Engaging with clients through meetings to comprehend and meet their tax-related
    Preparation of personal, partnership, and trust tax returns, particularly for the Firm's more complex clients.
    Reviewing personal tax returns, advice, or other technical work completed by junior team
    Identifying tax planning opportunities, providing advice to clients, and aiding in the implementation of chosen strategies.
    Assisting and managing HMRC enquiries and compliance
    Working collaboratively with multiple teams and Principals across the firm on ad-hoc advisory work to deliver comprehensive solutions.


    Qualifications and Skills:
    Our client is seeking an ideal candidate with the following qualifications and skills:
    CTA qualified (recommended) or qualified by
    2+ years
    Experience gained in a personal tax
    Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage junior team
    Ability to manage a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for compliance work and identifying tax planning opportunities.
    Good IT skills, with a preference for familiarity with Digita tax
    Up-to-date technical tax knowledge demonstrated by recent training and

    Employment Details:
    Full-time role – Monday to Friday (flexible time policy – combination of office/home working).
    Remuneration will be dependent on
    Right to work in the UK


    Package Includes:
    Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to 1 week's
    Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme (Employer: 5%; Employee: 3%) subject to
