    Senior Software Architect - SaaS, Software, Agile, Cloud, C#, Azure

    We are looking for an experienced Architect to join a global SaaS/Software technology company providing market leading solutions across a range of financial, security and government markets.

    The role of Software Architect overseas a global remit of products and teams, providing high level architecture that enables the efficient and accurate develop and implementation of complex software products.

    Your stakeholders will be Product Managers, Solutions Architects and the software development teams of which there are 8 teams across the UK, India and Europe.

    We are looking for experience with bespoke software products and working with teams to design systems and solutions using in-house development, rather than off-the-shelf solutions.

    Essential Skills / Experience

    • Proven track record of breaking down complex market requirements into secure, scalable and resilient system designs.
    • Experience working with Product Managers and Product Owners to define achievable product features.
    • Experience of work in an Agile Development Environment.
    • Experience providing technical management to global teams.
    • Evidence of an ability to assess and introduce new technologies to a team.
    • Experienced with producing high level systems designs across multiple products with multi-functional assets.
    • Experience in writing Technical Systems / Solutions Documentation

    Highly beneficial skills/experience

    • Experience working within government, finance, security or a regulated industry.
    • Experience providing solutions hosted in Microsoft Azure and/or multi tenanted cloud services.
    • Experience of managing large data stores.
    • Ability to prototype in a modern programming language C#, JavaScript, PowerShell or similar.
    • Understanding of the principles of network security, authentication and authorization.

    Working practices of the role:

    The position is located between Southampton and Fareham in Hampshire. The position offers hybrid working, onsite 2 days a week as a minimum. They offer flexible working hours, competitive salary and a generous bonus, pension and benefits.
