Description
Are you a vet looking for a flexible, progressive, supportive work environment? Perhaps you are looking for a role more tailored towards your interest or with scope for progression into a more senior position?Vets for Pets Huntingdon is a locally owned practice and we are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our inclusive, forward thinking team.
We're a busy first opinion veterinary practice who pride ourselves on providing the best care possible to each individual patient.
The team comprises of supportive experienced vets including a surgery cert holder with a strong RVN to vet ratio, 2 VCA's and a dedicated reception team.
In addition to certificates held within the team we welcome a visiting orthopaedic surgeon and cardiologist. We have a subscription to Vet CT and if you are working sole charge Sandy is always on the end of the phone should you need advice on a case.
Our OOH provider, Village Vets are also really helpful in providing advice and support when it comes to refer cases overnight or at the weekend.
We're based in a great spot for commuting with London and Cambridge both easily accessible via public transport and the A14/A1 if travelling by road.
Our missing puzzle piece will be a Vet with ideally at least 1 year's clinical experience, happy with routine presentations looking to progress in a busy and supportive general practice and passionate about providing high levels of client/patient care.
Work-Life balance and enjoying where you work is incredibly important to us, so finding a work pattern and environment to fit your needs is imperative.
We offer flexible rota's which can be tailored to your out of work commitments and include options such as late starts, longer lunch breaks or split shifts, early finishes, and different combinations of days per week.
We also have a weekend role available should this be of interest to you.Owing to the interests of our current team we can tailor this role to suit your interests whether that be a surgical bias, consult-only role or something else.
We are happy to pay for Visa's/Sponsorship for anyone outside of the UK providing that you have previously worked in a UK practice.
This role can be full or part time, within 1 in 4 weekends, no OOHs or SundaysIf you're interested in a role here at Huntingdon please don't hesitate to reach out to Leanne, Practice Manager, for a completely confidential chat on / or drop an email to leanne.
