- Manage a caseload of individuals within the prison, including assessment, planning, delivery of interventions, and regular review of care.
- Work within the framework of the multi-disciplinary team and Care Program Approach (CPA) to provide holistic care and support.
- Collaborate effectively with primary health care and prison staff to provide advice, support, and guidance regarding mental health concerns.
- Liaise with statutory and non-statutory agencies to facilitate seamless care transitions and access to additional support services.
- Support the team manager in achieving identified objectives related to individual care, staff development, and service improvement initiatives.
- Registered Nurse with current registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Register.
- Demonstrated experience in providing mental health interventions within a prison or secure setting.
- Familiarity with the stepped care model and Care Program Approach (CPA) principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with colleagues and external agencies.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and service improvement initiatives.
