This role is:

40 hours per week 7am3pm (no more working late nights)
52 weeks per year

- £32,000 per annum + expenses

As the Relief Chef Manager you will support the catering facilities for around 20 Primary and Secondary Schools within Weston-Super-Mare, assisting with operational and financial performance.

You will focus on delivering the highest quality of food and service as well as having the flair, originality and the ability to make this one of the best school catering offers in the area.

Leading, developing, coaching, training, and motivating the teams in your kitchens in the absence of the usual Chef Manager
Supporting control of the catering operation including stock, food, and labour costs
Ensuring consistency of food and service standards delivered to the students and staff
Managing Added Value days such as Parents Evenings, Open Days & School Events
Driving sales through monthly promotions and added value events
Managing and improving all controllable costs
Overseeing menu development
Maintaining company systems & procedures, and legislation
Carrying out regular audits to ensure standards are being met
