We are actively seeking an experienced HGV driver with warehouse experience to join our high performance team in Birmingham.

Driver / Warehouse Operative will assist with the preparation, maintenance and delivery of audio systems for Solotech's busy hire department.

Multi drop driving duties around the local and surrounding areas. This may include overnights when required.
Delivering to our various UK office locations
Store, organize and rotate stock utilizing proper storage methods and procedure
Prepare, pack and load equipment for delivery
Load and unload delivery courier/transport vehicles containing a variety of equipment
To ensure equipment is delivered within timelines and with appropriate packaging and documentation
Do regular checks on warehouse vehicles for fluid levels, proper tyre pressure and cleanliness, report potential safety issues or service needs
To assist in the preparation and maintenance of audio systems within the warehouse
To assist in general warehouse operation and organization
To assist with stock management
To report to managers any anomalies, lost, stolen or damaged equipment
The role may be required to assist, or cover for, other roles within the operating for which full training/support will be given

Your profile:

HGV (class 1 or 2) driving Licence and uptodate CPC Certification
Full, UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points and at least 5 years driving experience (required)
Driving: 2 years (required)
Strong communication skills
Forklift license (Reach or counterbalance) would be an advantage
